Angel Wings
On Easter Day 2006, Angel Wings rose from the ashes, a group of christian friends brought together to help the less well off within our society, who find life a struggle through no fault of their own. We offer help and assistance in numerous ways, from just someone to lean on or talk to when they feel down and neglected, to offering food parcels and clothing, especially for single parents and young families, and we also offer assistance to the infirmed and elderly
Angel Wings which is a group within Angel Wood Rise, also founded Operation Christmas Box which provides food hampers and toys at Christmas to those poor families and individuals which find themselves down on their luck.
Angel Wings also raises vital funds for local charities by arranging numerous fund raising events, it is very important to support these charities, especially in the current economic climate.
The most rewarding gift of all is to witness a smile on someones face especially a child, when they receive their gifts. These seasonal greetings and gifts pour out the love and warmth of Christmas into the lives of those less well off. Due to it's success Angel Wings will be extending and offering this service throughout the year from 2010 onwards.
