Badsey filmmaker Will Dallimore has been awarded the Brian
Bambury Trophy for 2008. The trophy, originally awarded by Vale of Evesham Cine Club, was presented by Graham Corbett,
club chairman , at Evesham Movie Makers Club's annual dinner at Broadway Golf Club.
Mr Dallimore's entry
was a short semi-animated film featuring the Journal's weatherman Paul Damari. Paul narrates a children's story about
teddy bears Wetherby and Theo who fight off a troublesome mouse.
The club which meets monthy at Red Cross Centre
in Evesham, is currently looking for a young actress to play the part of a 21 year old disillusioned single mother.
Members are also about to start filming a comedy by Hampton writer Rob Nichols which centres round a wheelie bin and is
called Bin Friends.
