Operation Christmas Box 2007
Operation Christmas Box has just
entered it's 15th year. Toys, food hampers and other festive items were collected, and sent to over 500 homes in Worcestershire after the
christmas eventide celebration, held on the 20th December. Sandra, the team, and I, feel the gap between the rich and
poor is again getting larger, with many families living on the bare minimum.
It
is so lovely to see families and individuals smile again and enjoying themselves, that also brings those working with
these families a sense of satisfaction.
Operation Christmas Box has grown and grown, helping those deprived
within our society, to have a happier and brighter christmas.
We would like to extend our thanks and gratitude
to everyone involved with Operation Christmas Box. We hope this christian work will expand and be with us for many
years, helping those around us, which through no fault of their own, fall on stony ground and hard times.
